Lecturer in Podiatry, working in the School of Health Sciences with WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY

Working at the University of Western Sydney means you will be part of an organization ranked among the top 2% of universities in the world and a leader in research – with 85% of the University’s research being at or above global standards .

We understand that the key to your success is unlocking your true potential – just like we do with our students. Our 3,500 staff members work together to enable a dynamic, inclusive and innovative culture that is clearly research-driven and student-centred.

The University is deeply rooted in the community and region we serve, which is Australia’s fastest growing economy and one of Australia’s most culturally diverse regions. Our 11 campuses comprise a hybrid network of technology-infused vertical CBD campuses and more traditional campuses in Western Sydney.

We are proud to challenge the traditional notion of what a university “should” be and are committed to ensuring that our 49,500 students have the best and most dynamic learning experience possible. From our future-focused redesign of our teaching methodologies to connecting our learning centers with industry, we provide our students with real-world learning experiences and future employment.

With over 200,000 highly respected alumni, we are ranked NSW’s highest university for graduate employer satisfaction. Join us as we shape the future of Western Sydney.

The School of Health Sciences trains the graduates of tomorrow in a contemporary environment that is stimulating and adaptable to a rapidly changing world. Our teaching programs are inherently interdisciplinary and cover a wide range of professional and other disciplines in clinical and non-clinical health sciences and sports-related disciplines. These areas are underpinned by a strong emphasis on research and research-led teaching, which involves partnerships with a range of external organisations. Our programs include undergraduate degrees, honors degrees, master’s programs, and graduate-level research programs (master’s and doctoral). All health science programs combine strong interprofessional health skills common to all health science professionals with the practice of a specialty discipline.

Our podiatry program is an accredited 4-year undergraduate program (with an integrated honors program option) and is well established and enjoys a strong national reputation. Specifically, the discipline of podiatry has strong collaborations with clinical providers (both public and private) and we benefit from our associations (teaching and research) with the community of Western Sydney and beyond.
